We were delighted to work alongside sculptors Studio 43, to deliver a 50ft high promotional statue of Japanese artist Yayoi Kusama. This is to mark the release of Louis Vuitton’s new Yayoi Kusama range of luxury goods at Harrods. B&E fabricated a steel support frame, similar to our award winning Croc Drop ride at Chessington, which was then clad by Studio 43 with their CNC carved panels. The job had to be erected between 10pm and 7am, causing the least amount of disruption to the general public.
Support frame was drawn on our 3D software, and then sent to our workshop for fabrication.
It’s 10pm and steels arrive on site, the night crew start the installation.
